Key features
The main advantage of this material is its transparency. The material is completely clear without any discoloration. At the same time, WaterClear has high rigidity and strength. The final parts achieve high accuracy and to achieve higher temperature resistance,
the material can be heat-cured during post-processing.
Suitable uses
WaterClear is used to produce prototype transparent parts such as windshields,
light guides and headlight housings. Due to its good detail, the material can also
be used for parts with demanding optical surfaces that can remain transparent
or can be otherwise treated (e.g. by plating). WaterClear can also be used
for end-use parts through which visual inspection is carried out or for which transparency is required of the component.
