The companies ONE3D Group a.s. and QPAG s.r.o. are entering Spacemanic CZ s.r.o., a leading European developer of nanosatellites and space technologies.
This strategic alliance brings together technologically advanced entities to create a unique industrial entity capable of delivering complex solutions for the space sector.
“The alliance with Spacemanic fulfils our vision of proprietary products and large satellite constellations. We want to combine our know-how in advanced manufacturing technologies with trends in smaller satellites. Our merger has also been strengthened by the joint deployer project, which will give us a complete product portfolio for launching satellites into orbit within the Group,” says ONE3D Group board member David Kadlcik.
Spacemanic has successfully completed several satellite missions and is an active partner in international projects. The company specialises in the design, manufacture and integration of nanosatellites, including their launch into orbit and operation. Through its new partnership with ONE3D Group and QPAG, it gains access to cutting-edge manufacturing facilities, faster innovation cycles and better infrastructure for growth.
“This acquisition is a natural step for us to further professionalize and expand into international markets,” says Jakub Kapuš, founder and CEO of Spacemanic CZ. “The new partners bring not only a stable technological background, but above all a shared vision of how to combine research, development and production into one functional and competitive unit within Europe. Together we want to make access to space faster, more affordable and accessible to a wide range of customers with our modular satellite platform.”
“Our goal is to build a strong European group that will be able to deliver complete solutions in the field of nanosatellites, propulsion systems, but also in the field of high-precision expert quality control and industrial automation, which is crucial for the production and testing of these technologies. This project will allow us to leverage our strengths in advanced inspection and measurement technologies to support our expansion into global markets, while also meeting Europe’s strategic goals of autonomy and technological sovereignty.” adds Tomáš Pavlík, owner of the QPAG Group.
The group being created aims to build a self-sufficient ecosystem for the development and production of space technologies. Joint capabilities will enable the development of both custom nanosatellites and standardized platforms, as well as specific parts and subsystems such as propulsion units, structures, electronics and related services.
This fusion comes at a time when the European space sector is experiencing significant growth. The market for nanosatellites and microsatellites surpassed $4 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $16 billion by 2030, according to analyst estimates. The European segment is growing at a rate of more than 20% per year and is expected to play a key role in future defence, telecommunications and environmental projects.
At the same time, Europe is seeking to strengthen its strategic autonomy in space technology. It is in this dynamic area that the ONE3D-QPAG-Spacemanic Group finds its place. Vertical integration, from development to production to operational support, brings the ability to respond quickly to changing market needs and technological trends.
The main advantages of the new industry group include the ability to develop turnkey satellite solutions, shorter production cycles thanks to additive technologies, a higher degree of production localisation and the ability to perform operational testing. From the customers’ perspective, this is a significant increase in reliability and a reduction in time to market. The company also plans to actively participate in European procurement and EU and ESA framework programmes.
The new group thus not only reflects current trends in the space market, but actively shapes them. The merger of the three specialised companies creates a comprehensive player capable of competing with global names while meeting Europe’s strategic objectives of security, autonomy and technological sovereignty.
